Hidden Gems of Lymm

Do you want a perfect night out? Then look no further Lymm is a quite village but doesn’t lack character.

For the love of wine…

Start your night in the Wine Kitchen in the centre of Lymm, where you will be spoilt for choice in their selection of Wine and Gin! The small, wine bar is very busy and popular. The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help. They take reservations which is handy when it can be so busy on Friday and Saturday evenings. If you are hungry they do delicious sharing platters which have a little bit of every food you love. If you like fizz they have a good English Vineyard, Rose.

Tasty Flavours…

All the bars and eateries in Lymm are close together. After you’ve started your night with a sparkle head upstairs to Flavours and sample some Turkish cuisine.

The laid back environment gives you the opportunity to relax whilst your food is being cooked to perfection. The speed of the service here was excellent and food was gorgeous. I cannot recommend enough the hot sharing lux meze platter, followed by the sharing main. This combo will not leave you disappointed or hungry.

A different place with a twist…

To finish the night of nicely head to Lestveldter’s which is a coffee bar by day and Gin bar by night.

This tucked away bar is a hidden gem, for any Gin lover for a cheeky Gin. You wouldn’t even know it was there and an experience where you feel like you have stepped back in time. This quirky bar has a walk-in menu which is a room with a large selection of unusual Gins. Lovely tonic, I asked for soda as I don’t like tonic, the bar tender explained that they have ‘the BEST tonic’. I was very impressed as the ‘1724’ tonic was as described and perfect to compliment the Gin I had chosen. Added to the G&T’s are suitable garnishes, cinnamon, berries in a large Gin bowl glass.

They have over 100 cocktails, the ‘Eldefizzer’ was delightful a mixture of Gin, Lemon and Champagne. Reasonably priced and a different bar to experience.

Worth a visit!
