How can you get to London cheaply? Wait for a virgin train sale, we managed to snap up tickets for £11 each way from Warrington Bank Quay to London Euston.
Accommodation – book way in advance! We booked a Premier Inn Hub, which was small but perfectly formed. All new and modern interior in London’s popular locations.
Where to eat? SIN ‘Salvation in Noodles’ in Dalston one of the tastiest meals we had all weekend. Lovely wine, great service and delicious food. http://www.salvationinnoodles.co.uk/landing
Brunch at the Breakfast Club in Hoxton for all kinds of wonderous delights from the common breakfast items to pancakes or something to confuse your taste buds as below:
East Brunswick for an alternative menu.
Markets to visit:
- Spitalfields for bits and bobs, jewellery type items & food including cheese bar.
- Borough Market for food & drinks.
Admire the views, visit the art on display, chill at Victoria Embankment Gardens, have an ice-cream at Covent Gardens. London is very visitor friendly with great cheap transport to get around the city by tube, bus, uber or foot.
We love London!
